Drop/Grace Period

notepin

We understand that online learning may not be a good fit for every student's learning style.  Each student enrolling in SK Online classes has an initial two-week grace period beginning from when a student is activated in the class. The student may drop without cause and have no grade posted to their transcript during the regular school year. If the student drops the course during the grace period, the teacher must be informed of the drop so that the student receives a no grade and not an “F” for inactivity.Students who are inactive for 10 school days or 14 calendar days without notification to the teacher will be dropped and a failing grade will be posted for the course in which the student is enrolled.  Drops after two weeks will result in a transfer grade of "F" as according to district policy. The drop and grace policy does not apply to Summer Session courses.
